These Terms govern your use of the Ghoolf Book mobile application and related web pages, operated by Ghoolf Lab FZCO. By using Ghoolf Book, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ghoolf Book and legally permitted to use every feature you choose where you are located.
You are responsible for accurate account information and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not impersonate another person, create abusive accounts, or use another person's account without permission.
Ghoolf Book helps users record rounds and organize friendly tournaments. It is not an official handicap authority, rules official, tournament sanctioning body, or golf club administration system. Review all scores and tournament information before relying on them.
Money Games is private record-keeping for player-entered golf stakes and settlements. Ghoolf Book does not accept deposits, hold funds, process payments, initiate transfers, provide payment links, enforce debts, act as a house or counterparty, or take a fee. Any payment occurs outside Ghoolf, and users are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where they play.
Course data is stored in Ghoolf's Supabase catalog and may include user-submitted corrections. Course names, tees, pars, yardages, locations, stroke indexes, and availability may change or be incomplete.
You retain ownership of content you create or upload, including profile photos, feed photos, captions, scores, rounds, tee times, and tournament information. You grant Ghoolf Lab a limited license to host, process, display, and share that content as needed to operate the app.
Ghoolf Book has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post or send unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, exploitative, deceptive, spam, infringing, or otherwise harmful content.
Ghoolf filters objectionable text from social posts and messages. Users can report objectionable content and block abusive users from post, message, and profile safety menus. Blocking removes the blocked user and their content from the blocker's social surfaces immediately and creates a private safety report for Ghoolf's moderation queue.
Ghoolf reviews safety reports within 24 hours. We remove content that violates these Terms and suspend or terminate the account that provided it when a violation is substantiated. Serious or repeated abuse may result in immediate account termination. Contact hello@ghoolfbook.com to report a safety concern outside the app.
Ghoolf Book, Ghoolf Lab, the app design, software, branding, and related materials are owned by Ghoolf Lab or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of our intellectual property.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghoolf Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
